Explain (could be in step form) how to factor the following polynomials. (2) = squared1) 2x(2)+ 10x -242) 4x(2) + 20x + 253) x(2) - x – 124) 9x(2) - 81
To get this simplified first go through and write it out, but when it says 2x(2), you would do 2x times 2x beacause they are trying to tell you instead of leaving it as 2x(2) do 2x times 2x to make it easier and 2x times 2x= 4x(2). You would then leave the 10x and go onto 24(2). That would be 24 times 24=576. Then multiply 4x times 4x and that =16x(2). Then + 20x and then + that to 253. Multiply that to x(2) then - x and - 124. Multiply that to 9x(2) and that = 81x(2)-81.
